About the Author
Jaimie Hope was born on November 3, 1976, in New York. Her love of writing began to take shape in high school, where the first ideas for The Adventures of Baby Jaimie came to life. Around that same time, she joined her school newspaper staff, spending two years writing freely on any topic that inspired her. That experience gave Jaimie her first taste of freelance-style writing and confirmed that storytelling would always be part of her future.
In 2003, Jaimie moved to Florida, where she became an active volunteer at the local library and historical society. She also explored other creative outlets, including singing on demo recordings, writing her first song, and even running a book club. But writing remained her true passion.
By 2005, she returned to the manuscript she had started years earlier: The Adventures of Baby Jaimie. Within a month, she completed the text, but after several rejections, she put the project aside once more.
Everything changed in 2006 when Jaimie moved back to New York. Over lunch, a friend introduced her to the world of self-publishing, encouraging her to pursue her dream. Inspired and determined, Jaimie leaped—and in November of 2006, AuthorHouse released The Adventures of Baby Jaimie.
That milestone marked the beginning of her publishing career, and she hasn't looked back since.
